Concepts :
Every artist is eager to know how far he was able to reach his readers/audience. An Author or a stage/TV/Cinema performer would depend upon the feedback to improve over his previous performance. In the absence of feedback, he might be discouraged and his artistic talent might dry up. On the other hand, if he depends upon some sycophant’s exaggerated account of the response, he might become overconfident and mar his skills. An accurate and balanced feedback like “Janavakku” alone can help an artist to assess his art impartially and grow further.
A businessman comes out with new products/service from time to time. To attract the prospective buyer, he offers complimentary gifts too along with the product. But sometimes, the campaign does not bring in the desired results. Then he has to conduct “Janavakku” a feedback survey to know the gap between buyer’s expectations and seller’s offers.
Similarly even the services a business house offers do not attract the attention of the prospective customer or he might not come back for enjoying the service again. There must be some displeasure somewhere and only “Janavakku” can reveal the reasons.
Importance of Word of Mouth :
Several crores of rupees are spent on advertising thru print and electronic media not only by corporate houses and business enterprises but also by professionals. This publicity can make prospective consumer aware of the product/service but he would not venture to test it till a fellow-consumer told him that he was satisfied.
This word-of-mouth publicity is cheaper yet very effective. So it is important that the manufacturer should please the client with good product/service to the extent that he shares his happiness with others.
This word-of-mouth publicity can be spread only thru a survey like “Janavakku”. While framing the questionnaire and eliciting the answers, we make the consumer to focus on the product/service and recall the pleasure/displeasure he derived out of the product/service. This can induce him to automatically spread his views among fellow consumers rendering word-of-mouth publicity absolutely free!
