Serving Humanity KMRR Way :
- For seven years KMRR conducted Regular Yoga classes Kamma Sangham, Ameerpet. Lower income groups were taught free of charge.
- Many free health check-up camps were conducted under the guidance of Dr. Ch. Vasant Kumar, at Heritage Hospitals.
- Realizing the responsibility towards the nation, KMRR in its very 1st year of inception donated Rs. 10,000/- towards the Kargil Fund to the Honorable Chief Minister of State.
- About 40,000 of various books written by Sri Chukkapalli Pitchayya were distributed free of cost by KMRR.
- Between 1998 and 2009, KMRR has provided yearly academic scholarships to 376 students from select schools apart from free distribution of notebooks, pens, clothes. One of the beneficiaries received 14th rank in IIT.
- KMRR’s “Donor to Student Scheme” was successful due to the trust enjoyed by KMRR.
- KMRR has received a prestigious Award from “Madras Telugu Academy (Year 2005)” as ‘Best Yoga Institute’ in creating self-employment and creating new trends in the yoga field and extending its Social Services by providing scholarships to poor children & orphans.
Contributions to KMRR exempt under Sec. 80(G) of 1961 IT Act.
ACCOLADES:
Though there have been many institutes imparting Yoga teachers training, KMRR stood out by constantly updating the syllabus and introducing new and innovative concepts. By putting best brains together KMRR saw to it that students get a comprehensive knowledge about human anatomy. This has attracted attention from media.
In addition to imparting training in traditional way successfully, KMRR has also been successful in producing some of the best yoga teachers. It could mould yoga into a respectable means of livelihood. Recognizing these services, “Madras Telugu Academy” conferred the title of “Samaikya Bharath Puraskar” to KMRR on April 3, 2005. This is received by its founder-director Dr. C.V. Rao from the hands of Sri Dharmana Prasad Rao, honorable Minister of AP.
